Training

We provide training at all levels using the internationally-recognised BSAC training and qualification scheme.

When you join the club you commence with initial diver training on Sunday evenings.

All training equipment is provided, but you will be expected to purchase your own fins, mask, snorkel & weightbelt early in the course;
this will cost in the region of £75 from one of the local dive shops.

The initial pool training takes about 12 weeks to complete depending on how often you turn up and how quickly you progress.
Once you have completed pool training you start in sheltered open-water sites.
